Dominant soils are Ashkum silty clay loam (58.1%, PI 127) and Elliott silt loam (30.4% nearly level, PI 125) with smaller areas of eroded Elliott and Varna silt loams (lowest PI 110). The weighted average PI is about 125. Reported yield records show corn averaging roughly 217 bu/acre (2020–2024) and soybeans averaging about 53 bu/acre.
